Who We Are
Today, Kuhdoo is owned and operated by Kaysha Kosman and Jake Thomas—a partnership built on trust, complementary strengths, and a shared commitment to building something honest, resilient, and built to last. Kuhdoo is not driven by trends or shortcuts, but by standards, intention, and the belief that when people care deeply about what they’re building, it shows in the product, the culture, and the experience. Their partnership formed through alignment in values, work ethic, and vision, revealing strengths that are distinct yet deeply complementary: Kaysha safeguards the foundation—the product, integrity, and standards—while Jake shapes the culture, direction, and horizon, guiding how Kuhdoo evolves, communicates, and shows up in the world. Together, they lead with intention, honoring where Kuhdoo came from while decisively shaping where it’s going, resulting in a brand that feels grounded yet ambitious, familiar yet forward-moving, and built not for quick wins, but for longevity.
Kaysha Kosman
Kaysha Kosman is the founder of Kuhdoo and the steward of its origins. She leads product formulation, quality standards, and the core principles that define the brand at its most fundamental level. Her relationship to Kuhdoo is deeply hands-on—rooted in respect for the craft, the process, and the responsibility that comes with putting something into the hands of customers.
For more than thirteen years, Kaysha has built Kuhdoo from the ground up—through long days, late nights, and seasons where perseverance mattered more than polish. What began in her kitchen as a pregnant mother became a relentless, daily commitment to creating something real. She poured soap and candles by hand, worked markets under pop-up tents, packed orders late into the night, and quite literally built this company while raising young children—often with babies on her back and work happening wherever it had to.
Before founding Kuhdoo, Kaysha built her professional foundation in corporate banking in Austin, where she developed a sharp understanding of systems, accountability, and operational discipline. But it was the years of lived experience—testing formulas, refining process, listening to customers, and showing up day after day—that forged Kuhdoo into what it is today. That discipline now quietly underpins everything from financial management and supply chain decisions to process control and long-term sustainability.
Kaysha’s leadership is practical, grounded, and unwavering. She is fiercely protective of product integrity and consistency, ensuring that growth never comes at the expense of quality. From ingredient sourcing to formulation to final product, her focus has never changed: make things well, make them honestly, and never cut corners—no matter how hard it gets.
As Kuhdoo continues to expand, Kaysha remains the anchor. She carries the memory of every early morning, every market weekend, every small win earned the hard way—ensuring the brand stays connected to the standards, values, and grit that earned trust in the first place.
Jake Thomas
Jake Thomas is Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Kuhdoo, responsible for the company’s operations, creative direction, culture, and long-term growth. His role sits at the intersection of execution and vision—ensuring that how Kuhdoo operates, communicates, and presents itself is aligned, intentional, and built to scale.
Before joining Kuhdoo, Jake spent over 15 years working across Mexico, New York City, and Miami in international trade and marketing, compliance, and residential real estate. That experience developed a sharp understanding of regulation, risk management, negotiation, and operational precision—insight that now informs how Kuhdoo is structured and scaled, bringing discipline and accountability to a growing brand without dulling its character.
A former United States Marine and lifelong athlete, Jake brings clarity, systems thinking, and high standards to everything he touches. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, and a Master of Science from the University of Texas at Austin—combining creative sensibility, business acumen, and scientific rigor.
As COO, Jake leads operational strategy, brand positioning, design direction, marketing execution, and cultural standards across the company. From aesthetics and storytelling to in-store experience and internal expectations, his focus is on building a cohesive brand environment—one that feels grounded, confident, and unmistakably Kuhdoo.
Before ultimately scaling an online coaching business in 2022, Jake’s career was defined by building systems, leading people, and executing at a high level across industries—experience that continues to shape how Kuhdoo grows with intention, discipline, and longevity.
